We flew across Spain today and will spend most of our remaining time in Europe visiting a friend in Portugal.
Sadly, there’s no Day 5 post for this trip. Something I ate did not land well and I spent all of my time in the hotel. I’m so disappointed – I was really looking forward to exploring Barcelona. Someday …
Most of today was involved in travel (flying and driving), but we did manage to sneak in a little side trip to see the Mosteiro de Alcobaça along the way. Very much worth it.
We’re staying tonight and tomorrow night in a delightful hilltop hotel in Ourém. Looking forward to sharing more once we get to explore more.
