Bellingham Sunrise

21 November 2021

I am on a brief solo road-trip this weekend. I woke up, looked out the window, and got outside as quickly as I could to capture this morning’s sunrise.

A wide panorama of a calm bay at dawn, with glassy water reflecting a sky of soft blue and orange clouds, bordered by rocky riprap shorelines in the foreground and low forested hills and distant islands on the horizon.
A pink and purple dawn sky streaked with clouds glows orange near the horizon over the forested hills behind Bellingham, with a small waterfront city skyline, a railway line, and a rocky shoreline reflected in the calm water in the foreground.
A calm harbor at dawn with still water reflecting a pale, cloud-streaked blue sky, fronted by a riprap shoreline of gray boulders and dried grasses with red and yellow leaves in the foreground. Across the water, fishing boats, piers, waterfront industrial buildings, and marina docks sit below low hills on the horizon.
