Tara and I are starting a weeklong trip of southern Europe. We arrived yesterday in Firenza (or Florence as we’ve Anglicized it) and have spent yesterday and today at the charming Villa le Piazolle per a recommendation from a friend.
Here’s a brief view of our pad in Florence:
Today we took a brief drive around the countryside.
… and then into the city itself.
This trip is making me brush up on my high-alert driving skills on these narrow Tuscan roads. Our B&B in Florence is on this street.
