So the plan was that Lisa and I would fly to Minneapolis, she would attend a conference, I’d get to introduce her to my friends “back home,” and we’d have an all-around good time.

And then that tickle in the back of my throat turned into something worrying enough that we decided we’d best keep to ourselves. We did manage to see some of my old stomping grounds, but not as much as we’d hoped. Ah well.

It’s been a very long time (18 years?!?) since I’ve lived here, but it still warms my heart to be here.
