For today, we made a lazy day of it and went back to the malecón and did a bit more shopping.

An entrance to a building called “Hilo” on a white-painted brick wall, featuring an ornately carved weathered wooden double door with a pointed arch, set beneath a rusted reddish sign panel. An empty black metal sign bracket with hanging chains protrudes from the wall to the right, above a concrete sidewalk.

On our way back, I made a few street scene photos …

A narrow cobblestone street in Puerto Vallarta lined with whitewashed buildings, including a multi-story white building with balconies, potted plants, and shops on the right. A large leafy tree grows from a curbed planter in the middle of the street, with parked cars, a white van, and a person standing nearby under a clear blue sky.

A two-story whitewashed building with a green awning, arched windows and a green door sits on a cobblestone street corner under a clear blue sky. To the right, an overgrown hillside with dense green vegetation rises behind a weathered yellow-and-white stone wall with concrete steps.
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico
A small white-painted brick laundromat with a red clay tile roof and a faded awning reading “Lavanderia El Refugio,” seen across a wide cobblestone street under a bright blue sky. A man in a plaid shirt stands in the open doorway, with a streetlamp, utility pole tangled with wires, a parked white car, and multi-story buildings nearby.
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico
A weathered brown metal door with decorative wrought-iron scrollwork and frosted glass panels, set into a whitewashed painted-brick wall. The lower part of the door is marked with black graffiti tags, a blue tile address plaque reads 1062 above it, and an electric meter with conduit is mounted on the wall to the right, with greenery growing on the left.
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico
An overgrown vacant lot with tall weeds and brush in front of a weathered exposed-brick building wall painted with a faded mural of a wide-eyed clown wearing a green and white cap, surrounded by graffiti, under a clear blue sky in Puerto Vallarta.

We stopped by the marina district for some lunch. Apparently, there are crocodiles here and it’s a bad idea to swim in the marina area.

A yellow warning sign on a green pole at a marina reads “PELIGRO COCODRILOS PROHIBIDO NADAR” with a black crocodile silhouette, set against a cloudy sky with a tall palm tree, moored yachts, mountains, and high-rise buildings in the background.

A marina in Puerto Vallarta filled with rows of moored yachts and sailboats, with a small motorboat heading down the calm central channel. Beyond the docks, palm trees, white buildings, and a high-rise condo tower stand against a backdrop of mountains under a partly cloudy sky.
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico
Large colorful three-dimensional letters spelling “Puerto Vallarta” decorated with painted flowers, fish, sea turtles, dolphins, and seahorses, set on a grassy plaza with a paved walkway in front and tall palm trees against a clear blue sky behind.
